Ferenc Puskás
I never thought I would be so lucky one day. I, the asteroid number 82656, got a new name and I am christened after Ferenc Puskás, the world-famous soccer player! I don't even know how many thousands or millions of years I've been orbiting here in space, and come on, I got this honour in 2001. I first noticed him at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics, but then what he did with the Hungarian Golden Team in 1953 at Wembley Stadium was absolutely amazing. The Hungarian team won 6:3 and Puskás scored two goals. After 1956, his fate became uncertain for a while, but fortunately he joined the Spanish football club, Real Madrid, so I was able to see him play again. After he retired as a player, I also followed his coaching career. What a player he was! The best scorer of the 20th century, who scored goals in all kinds of international competitions, he became the Hungarian and Spanish top scorer. His last years were difficult, until he died in 2006 at the age of 79. It saddened me a lot, but that's how human life is, it comes to an end. I, on the other hand, will shine proudly in the sky and bear his name for another thousands of years.
