Tri-City

The Tri-City is located in northern Poland, on the Bay of Gdansk, and is made up of historic Gdansk, the spa town of Sopot, and modern Gdynia. In Gdansk, you will find the historic Royal Road with Długa Street and the Long Market. It was this road that was travelled by monarchs who visited the seaside city. The centre of Gdansk is also the famous Neptune's Fountain or Artus Court, the meeting place of the wealthier bourgeoisie. This is just a substitute, as the World War II Museum and the European Solidarity Centre are also worth seeing in Gdansk. The picturesque Oliwa district is home to the Gdansk Zoo and the beautiful Oliwa Park. The resort of Sopot is primarily the longest wooden pier on the Baltic Sea. Sightseeing in Sopot also means walking along the extremely representative promenade on Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street (the so-called Monciak). Attractions in Sopot include countless restaurants, clubs and pubs, as well as the forest part of the resort with walking trails and the legendary Forest Opera. Gdynia is Kosciuszko Square with ships moored on the waterfront. It's Kamienna Gora with its railroad and view of the sea. It's also historic Orlowo with its pier and beach. Attractions in Gdynia also include countless restaurants located in the city centre. A great event in Gdynia is also the annual Open'er festival, a celebration of world music and one of the largest music festivals in Europe, and the Polish Film Festival.
