Caves of the Slovak Karst

So far, more than 7,000 caves have been discovered in Slovakia, of which around a thousand are in my area of the Slovak Karst. This is the largest karst area in Central Europe. Since 1995, we have been on the UNESCO World Heritage List thanks to the Slovak-Hungarian bilateral project Caves of the Slovak and Aggtelek Karst. On my territory you can find several jewels, including Domica cave and its Hungarian sister Baradla, Ochtinská aragonite cave, Gombasecká cave, Krásnohorská cave, Skalická cave and many others that are not yet accessible. If you would like to see at least the most famous of us, you need at least two days. The reason is also that the Jasovská cave is located a little further than the others.
