Alfréd Hajós
I remember the first Olympics in 1896 when I won all the 100 meters swimming competitions and also the 1200 meters from ship to shore. Alfréd Hajós, or the "Hungarian dolphin," as the newspapers prefer to call me. The reason I didn't get a nickname for my soccer success was perhaps because there are no animals that play football. However, I was a member of the national team several times and also acted as a referee. I’m not complaining of course, it just occurred to me. Let's say I could design the National Sports Swimming Pool and the UTE stadium. Two magnificent buildings for my two favourite sports, swimming and soccer. Who knows, maybe one day one of them will be named after me.
